FUNDING & SPONSORSHIP
Estimated ride cost
The total estimated cost for the equipment and 18 month journey is NZD $150,000. This includes the cost of the motorcycle and riding gear, luggage and tools, camping and film gear. Fuel, accommodation, freight and flights make up the majority of costs on the road. Extra ongoing costs include visas, insurance, passage de carnet, vaccinations and inoculations, not to mention the all important repairs and maintenance of the bike over the 30,000 miles!
Personal contribution
Half of the total cost will be funded from personal savings - NZD$75,000. This will allow me to set up and get started on the road.
Sponsporship
The remaining NZD $75,000 needs to be raised through sponsorship. Sponsorship packages include website banners, social media posts, in-camera mentions on the YouTube channel, and doing personal presentations to your staff and/or customers.
